Genesis
Genesis is a cross between Hemingway and a Caligula daughter. Hemingway's fleece measured 17.8um AFD, 3.6 SD, and a CofV of 19.1 at 3 years of age.
To my knowledge, Caligula never had a skin biospy performed to measure his density, but prodgeny of his including El Nino and Poseidon have proven
to be over 2 times denser than the average American alpaca at ~90 follicles per mm. Over 23 years since the alpaca was introduced into the US and these
numbers continue to dominate. Genesis had a
short show career which garnered him a 4th at the 2005 Futurity, 5th at 2006 AWE,
and a 3rd at 2007 AWE. In each of these shows he competes against multiple Accoyo
America and Crescent Moon animals. To understand just how difficult it is to compete
against these 2 programs, just look at the results of the shows they attend at www.alpacashows.com
and you'll see that Legacy and Caligula (El Nino) bloodlines have dominated the
white catagory.

Gondi
Gondi was among our first full Peruvian purchases. We bought him young based on
his sires domineering look. His initial fleece statistics were very good but he
was young. His 17 month AFD is 17.8 and his density is 25% better than the average
alpaca. All his great fleece statistics, still don't over-shawdow his gentle personality.
He has been dubbed "the one we will never sell". More-over, he was born on Christmas
day!. He also brought home our very first ribbon. We will be using him to impart
fineness on our foundation females.

Limelight
Limelight is a full Peruvian 1/2 accoyo light fawn boy.
His 2 year AFD of 22.2 is very respectable and combined with his low SD (3.8), CofV
(17.3), high follicle count (60fpm) and high SP ratio (9.4 to 1) puts him amoung the
top 10% of alpacas tested to date. His dark eyes keep the possibility of color open. Did I mention
he has only 1% medulation in his secondary fibers? His blanket has unbelievable
luster, a testament to his well defined sebaceous glands.

Spirit
We acquired spirit with his DAM at the Snowmass auction in 2007. In his first
show in Denver (GWAS) he took a 4th place out of 15 animals. He's just a beautiful
example of how Snowmass is producing a very consistent looking, perfect conformation,
fine fleeced alpaca. Because we are not focusing on color, he is for sale. However,
until he sells we will continue to show him.

Rubicon
Rubicon is a full Peruvian 3/4 accoyo cross between El Nino's Michelangelo and Charisma,
a Legacy daughter. He has a fawn spot on his head so he will be able to
impart color on his progeny. All that will be over-shadowed by his fleece. It's
thick, it's soft, it's long at 3 months and it has character. We are expecting big
things from Rubicon.

Charisma
Charisma is a full Peruvian 1/2 accoyo Legacy daughter. Having produced Rubicon,
she'll be in our foundation herd for some time. Her breeding to Incan Emperor
over the early summer didn't take. We are now breeding her to Genesis because we
like the fatc that they both have fine fiber, low SDs, CVs and 12/1 SP ratios. They
have the same density. Similar to her breeding to Michelangelo, we expect a light
cria.

Vintage
Vintage is the Snowmass element we wanted in our breeding pogram. Her 4 year fleece statistics
say it all (21.8 AFD, 4.1 SD, 19% CofV, 2.5% > 30). She garners the most complements
than any of our alpacas. She's 130lbs, fleece between her toes and just a pretty
blue (grey in brown) color. She is being bred to Snowmass Incan
Emperor for an Oct-Nov 2008 cria. Without knowing much about her (other than 4 years
of fine fleece) we decided that breeding her to another Snowmass animal makes the
best sense.

Noel
Noel is full Peruvian medium fawn and is being bred to Snowmass Casanova. Her low
micron count @ 2.5 years of age is only part of her fleece story. She has a very
high SP ratio at over 12 to 1 and she has very nice crimp in her head and neck.
It happens that she has color in her background and we had a breeding at Likada
that did not include Michelangelo so we decided to go with Casanova.

Barbie
Barbie is full Peruvian and half accoyo with perfect conformation. Her fleece is
just average in fineness and density but her coverage and length are as good as
any. She is being bred to 'The Goldsmith' because he is
full accoyo and has all the same conformation and fleece coverage qualities as Barbie....but
with better fineness and density. We are expecting the 3/4 accoyo cria to an excellent
quality medium fawn alpaca.

Jubilee
Jubilee is full Peruvian and half accoyo just like her half brother Limelight. She
is fairly tall compared to our other girls. Her fleece is very respectable at 22um
at 2 years but she is fairly dense as well, and most of all, she has a long staple.
We know 'The Goldsmith' will impart most of his qualities on the cria but we are
hoping for Jubilee's staple. We are indifferent in the resulting color but we expect
white will dominate the 3/4 accoyo bloodlines.

Cali
Cali is full Peruvian and as most of our animals has very fine fleece at 20um @
2 years of age with nice density. Our goal in breeding her to Snowmass Incan Emperor
was to produce a compact animal with full coverage down the legs. We expect
fineness as both animals are very fine to begin with. A rose grey would be
a bonus. We missed the breeding window this summer so we will breed her in November.

Julieta
Julieta is our lone full accoyo female. Her fleece is very 'accoyo' and
she has the best density of all our females and a superb SP ratio of 12.2 to 1.
Her sire (Andian Pride) has nearly the density of Michelangelo but his SP ratio
is an unheard of 19 to 1. He is considered to be in the top 1% of alpacas that
have been skin biopsied.

Vahevela
Vahevala will take over as the prettiest alpaca we have. She is dainty and has beautiful
peach fleece that is so consistent throughout her body in crimp and color.
Since she has very nice luster in her fleece. We will make her breeding decision
after the results of her skin biopsy.
